- Description
- A poem I wrote about the way our mountains have changed. I grew up in Todd, NC and have been living in Asheville the last three years and was living in biltmore village when the Storm hit. The only place I had to evacuate was Boone which was also heavily hit. To watch the worlds I lvoe wash away was painful and I spent weeks and months being angry and sad. But this poem is about love and hope in those times. These are also photos I took while in asheville and after when me and some others came together and form a relief team that ended up building a distribution site and free store and were contracted out eventually and paid for the work we were doing. I love these mountains and these people
